Deadline Delivery — same-day courier since 1988

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 8, 2026

Deadline Delivery Service, Inc. (“Deadline Delivery,” “we,” or “us”) operates a courier and same-day delivery service in Massachusetts. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery details you give us when you request a quote, schedule a delivery, or call dispatch — your name, company, email address, phone number, pickup and delivery addresses, and any instructions you include about the shipment.
  • Account and billing information for customers we invoice, including billing contacts, purchase-order or reference numbers, and payment records.
  • Driver information for the people who drive for us, including mobile phone numbers used to send job assignments.
  • Basic website data such as pages visited and approximate location, used to keep the site working and secure. We use Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to block automated spam; your use of it is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.

How we use it

We use this information to quote, schedule, dispatch, and complete deliveries; to send delivery confirmations and proof of delivery; to invoice and collect payment; to send drivers the details of jobs assigned to them; and to answer questions and resolve problems. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

Deadline Delivery sends text messages to its drivers containing the details of jobs assigned to them. A driver provides his or her mobile number and agrees in writing to receive these messages when he or she begins driving for the company. Numbers are entered by our office staff; we do not collect them through any public form and we do not buy or rent phone lists.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies with how many jobs a driver is assigned. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. See our Terms & Conditions for the full messaging terms.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to do the job: with the driver performing your delivery, and with the service providers that run our email, text messaging, payment processing, and hosting. Those providers may use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

How long we keep it

We keep delivery and billing records for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, and for as long as the law requires.

Security

Access to our dispatch and accounting system is restricted to authorized staff and protected by individual accounts. Records are backed up regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Drivers can stop job texts at any time by replying STOP. Customers can ask to stop delivery-confirmation emails by contacting the office.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
